This Privacy Policy explains how Digital Jungle, operated by Digital Jungle LLC ("Digital Jungle", "we", "us", or "our"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information in connection with our partner network, our website (digitaljunglesf.com), and our messaging (SMS/text) program (together, the "Services").

Digital Jungle builds and operates a network of partners — such as caterers, suppliers, and service providers — to scale event production. By using the Services, or by opting in to receive text messages from us, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

Who we are

Digital Jungle is building a network of vendors and partners to support and scale event production. As part of operating this network, we contact vendors and partners to coordinate availability, capacity, and logistics, and we communicate with the businesses and users who work with us.

Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information:

  • Contact information — business name, contact name, email address, phone number (including mobile numbers), and postal/business address.
  • Business information — publicly listed business details such as category, ratings, website, and map listing (e.g., from public business directories and mapping services).
  • Communications — messages you send to us and that we send to you, including SMS/text content, email, and call notes.
  • Account and usage information — information you provide when using our Services, and technical data such as device, browser, IP address, and pages viewed.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — used to operate and improve our website (see Section 9).

We obtain this information directly from you, from your interactions with the Services, and, for vendor and partner outreach, from publicly available business listings.

How we use information

We use information to:

  • operate, provide, and improve the Services;
  • build and manage our partner network and contact vendors and partners regarding event availability, capacity, quotes, and logistics;
  • send and respond to messages, including SMS/text messages and email;
  • schedule and follow up on calls and appointments;
  • maintain records in our customer relationship management (CRM) system;
  • ensure security, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Legal bases (GDPR). Where GDPR applies, we process personal data on the basis of: our legitimate interests in building our partner network and contacting businesses for B2B coordination; your consent (for example, where you opt in to text messaging); the performance of a contract with you; and compliance with legal obligations.

How we share information

We do not sell your personal information.

We may share information with:

  • Service providers who process data on our behalf (for example, messaging providers, email providers, hosting, and our CRM), under contracts that require them to protect the data and use it only to provide services to us;
  • Authorities or other parties where required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Digital Jungle, our partners, or the public;
  • Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

Mobile information / SMS opt-in is never shared. We do not share, sell, rent, or otherwise disclose mobile phone numbers or SMS opt-in/consent information to third parties or affiliates for their own marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information collected for text messaging — including the fact that you opted in and your consent — is used only to deliver and support our messaging program, and is shared only with the messaging service providers strictly necessary to send those messages on our behalf.

SMS / Text messaging program

Digital Jungle operates an SMS/text messaging program used to contact vendors and partners about event availability and logistics, and to follow up with those who respond.

  • Program description. If you opt in, you may receive text messages from Digital Jungle regarding event opportunities, availability and capacity requests, scheduling, and related follow-up.
  • Consent / opt-in. We send messages only where we have a lawful basis to do so. Where consent is required, you may opt in through the methods we make available (for example, a web form, in person, verbally, or by texting us). Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase.
  • Message frequency. Message frequency varies based on your interaction with us. You will typically receive messages only in connection with a specific event request and any follow-up to your reply.
  • Message and data rates. Message and data rates may apply. These charges are set by your mobile carrier and are your responsibility.
  • Opt-out. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send one confirmation message and will not send you further messages unless you opt in again.
  • Help. For help, reply HELP to any message, or contact us at [email protected].
  • Carriers. Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
  • No sharing of mobile data. As stated in Section 4, mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in/consent information are never shared with third parties for their marketing purposes.

Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, including to operate the Services, maintain business records, and comply with our legal obligations. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it.

  • request correction or deletion of your personal data;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • withdraw consent (including opting out of text messages at any time);
